TriValSalon Suites

For estheticians

A quiet treatment room in Crofton for estheticians.

Suites C and D are quiet lower-level treatment rooms, away from street noise, with an esthetics bed already in place, a sink with cabinets, and fresh-air ventilation. One of us is an esthetician, so we built these rooms the way we would want to work. From $279 a week, with everything included.

The work

What an esthetician needs from a room.

Skin work is quiet work. Your client is lying down with her eyes closed, trusting you with her face, and every slammed door or hair dryer through the wall breaks that. A treatment room also has practical needs that a spare corner of a salon never quite meets: water close by, somewhere to store linens out of sight, steady warmth, and air that clears wax and peel scents between clients.

Those are the things we argued about most while drawing these rooms. The lower level gave us the quiet for free. The rest we built in: a sink with cabinets, a bed in place on move-in day, fresh-air ventilation, and a thermostat in each room so you can keep it warm for a client under a blanket.

Which suite fits

Suites C and D, on the lower level.

Facials, peels, and waxing need calm more than square footage. At 90 sq ft, Suites C and D are sized for one bed, one stool, and a trolley, with nothing between your client and a quiet hour. They sit off a private corridor with its own lower-level entrance, so the hair suites upstairs never walk through.

Each room is a single-practitioner space. The restroom on the lower level is shared by just the two treatment rooms, not a whole building of tenants.

  • Quiet, lower-level room

Lamp-lit, no street noise, and sound-insulated walls between suites. Your client can close her eyes and actually rest.

  • Esthetics bed provided

An esthetics bed is in the room when you move in. Bring your steamer, mag lamp, and wax warmer and you are ready to book.

Fresh air and your own HVAC, so wax, peel solutions, and product scents stay in your room and out of the next one. You control the thermostat.

  • Sink with cabinets

A sink with built-in cabinets for towels, linens, and backbar, so your counter stays clear and your sanitation routine stays easy.
